1. What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and academic details (university, semester). If you subscribe, we process payment information through our payment provider — we do not store card details.
2. How we use it
Your data is used solely to operate the platform — authenticating your account, filtering content to your curriculum, and managing your subscription. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
3. Cookies and storage
We use cookies for authentication sessions (via Supabase Auth). We also uselocalStorageto persist UI preferences such as font size. No third-party tracking cookies are used.
4. Data storage
Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) infrastructure. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We retain your account data for as long as your account is active.
5. Institution accounts
If your account was created by an institution, your profile is linked to that institution. The institution manager can see your name and email for account administration purposes only.
6. Your rights
You can update your profile details at any time in Settings. To request account deletion or a copy of your data, email us and we will respond within 7 days.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify users of significant changes via email or an in-app notice.
